This blog exists thanks to Murray Cox who gave me the kick up the backside I needed to get going in the world of journalism. He taught me it’s no use dipping your toe in the shallow end of the pool, you’ve got to do a running bomb into the deep end – making sure you soak all your spectators along the way!
